New Dawn Or New Down ?

In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself, that is the meaning of inner strength. Upnd’s First 6 Months In Government

It is too soon to judge the party’s performance in government. The UPND government has a five-year mandate and should be given chance to develop the country. The UPND government has so far introduced free education, increased Constituency Development Fund ( CDF ) from K1.6 million to K25.7 million, and is paying retirees. CDF guidelines issued together with the quarterly CDF were released. The people at the grassroots will not decide their own priorities. The UPND Alliance government has done great things in the last six months, some of the achievements of the UPND Alliance Administration is paying off all the 1,500 TAZARA workers, 34,000 council workers, 128,000 pensioners, and 258,000 farmers who supplied maize to the Food Reserve Agency ( FRA ). Women are artistically special – Director P

By Terence Miselo US-BASED musician with Zambian and Congolese links Patrick Lualua Jr. aka Director P says women are artistically special and deserve to be celebrated. Speaking in an exclusive interview in light of the women month of March 2022, Director P said art in any form is usually completed with the support of a woman because they are special and gifted. “When you use a woman in art of any kind, you communicate emotions, beauty, love, and all that comes with human interaction, ” said Director P who is in search of his African past as he plans to visit Zambia this year. Director P says he is also working on his Extended Play(EP) project that will have a feature of a woman group as he plans to visit Zambia for shows in May. The artist known for his recent single ‘Bedroom’ says his new EP is called ‘New Energy’. The EP will consist of seven songs and Director P plans a continental tour of Africa to promote the project. “My EP tour will begin in Kitwe(Zambia) and consist of some sets around in cities before I make my way to East Africa,” he said. “ The EP will consist of seven songs, two of them mixed and mastered by Eazy the Producer all the way in Zambia, three of them by Fidel Sebastian, two of them by Jay the Producer.” All these songs were recorded in Toronto, Canada under Lupasa Records. “Once in Zambia, I will be shooting some music videos for the EP, and working with some local artists including women for my next projects,” explained Director P whose songs can be accessed on YouTube, Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Boomplay, Shazam and other major music platforms. He said apart from doing music, he is also a filmmaker with an interest in working with many talents in Zambia and around the world. ” I am a music video director and award-winning film producer,” said Director P.
